NOTE: Governor Cuomo has issued Executive Order 202.13, postponing elections of school board members, library board members, and village elections until at least June 1, 2020.  This includes the school budget vote.  This page will be updated when further information is available.

Attention Residents of the North Collins Central School District:

ANNUAL BUDGET HEARING - TBD

ANNUAL MEETING, BUDGET VOTE AND ELECTION - TBD

The Annual Meeting and Voting on the 2020-2021 Total Educational Budget, the Purchase of School Vehicles, and the election of one (1) Board of Education Member will be held on DATE PENDING, from 12:00 noon – 9:00 p.m. in the Jr.-Sr. High School Gymnasium.

One (1) Board Member vacancy will be filled this year for a term beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2025.  The five-year term of Heather Puntillo will expire on June 30, 2020.

STATEMENT OF EXPENDITURES NOTICE

In compliance with Sections §1608 and §1716 of the Education Law which states that the Statement of Expenditures must be completed at least 14 days prior to the Annual Meeting, Budget Vote and Election (DATE TBD) you are hereby notified that said STATEMENT OF EXPENDITURES will be available for review in the District Office of the North Collins Central School District on DATE TBD, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

QUALIFIED VOTERS ELIGIBILITY

  • A Citizen of the United States

  • Eighteen (18) years of age

  • A resident within the district for a period of thirty (30) days prior to the vote

NOMINATING PETITIONS FOR BOARD OF EDUCATION

Nominating petitions for the election will be available at the bottom of this page and in the District Office for anyone wishing to become a candidate for the School Board election.

Election will be conducted for one (1) seat:

Full Five (5) Year Term 7/01/20-6/30/25

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Applications for absentee ballots are available in the District Office starting DATE TBD, in the Jr.-Sr. High School Building, 2045 School Street, North Collins, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
