Updates and Reminders:  

North Collins Central School District is providing meals to families for students that are learning 100% remotely, as well as for the students that are learning on the Hybrid Model. 

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has elected the use of the Nationwide waiver flexibilities provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to allow free meals to continue to be available to ALL children throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year.

These waiver extensions are expected to facilitate streamlined access to nutritious meals and snacks, while minimizing potential exposure to COVID-19, for the duration of the school year. To read NYSED’s full memo regarding free meals for the 2020-2021 school year, click here.

If you have registered for the meal distribution program, your meals will be available for pickup on Wednesdays from 1:00 -5:00 p.m. at the Jr.-Sr. High School. Please enter the bus loop and proceed to the Gym Foyer Doors. There will be no alternate pickup times. 

If you are not registered and would like to, please complete the registration formThank you in advance for your diligence in picking up these pre-ordered meals.  *ALL ENROLLED NORTH COLLINS STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE MEALS IN OR OUT OF SCHOOL.

We will not be providing meals through customary school breaks.  The process will be as follows:

  1. You must register on the Google form in order to pick up meals for your child(ren). 
  2. Pick up will be on Wednesdays at the Jr.-Sr. High School at the gym foyer entrance between 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  If your child(ren) are 100% remote learners, you will pick up meals for 5 days.  If your child(ren) are hybrid learners, you will pick up meals for 3 days. Note: On the weeks that we have instruction on Wednesday due to a holiday, we will alter the pick up to accommodate this conflict.   
  3. Any new registrants after September 16, 2020 must register a week in advance (5:00 p.m. the previous Wednesday). 

Preparing meals is a time-consuming and costly process, and we want to ensure as little waste as possible. Please use the link below for REGISTRATION:


 Given our current situation, our meal program will be completely cashless.  All students wishing to participate in the meal program must be enrolled at and meals will be charged to their accounts.  If you are in a free status for the lunch program, you do not have to enroll in the myschoolbucks.
